The Altoona Mountain Lions secured a dominant victory over Chambersburg in high school boys volleyball, sweeping their opponents with scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-17 at the AAHS Fieldhouse. Caleb Fries stood out with 13 kills, two blocks, and five digs, while Sam Kessinger showcased his skills with 35 assists, five digs, four aces, one kill, and one block. Nino Yohn also made a notable contribution with eight digs and an ace for Altoona, further solidifying their 3-1 record.

In other matches, Forest Hills defeated Central in a 25-18, 25-22, 25-18 victory, with Bryson Brooks leading the Scarlet Dragons with eight kills. Bishop Guilfoyle, unfortunately, fell to DuBois in a 25-5, 25-12, 25-13 defeat despite Noah Kelleher’s four kills and a dig.

On the track and field front, Williamsburg had mixed results, defeating Fannett-Metal 73-36 but falling to Southern Fulton 70-48. Ryland Corle and Latrell Barroner were instrumental in the Blue Pirates’ performance, securing wins in various events.
